Abstract
► Exercise induced dehydration had no effect on the pharmacokinetics of alcohol. ► Breath alcohol levels were higher than blood levels for 2 h after ingestion. ► Blood alcohol levels were higher than breath levels 3 and 4 h after ingestion. ► Subjects were more likely to drive after drinking alcohol in a dehydrated state.
