Abstract
⺠Anti-luteolytic effects of PGE1 and PGE2 intra-luteal implants were evaluated in cows. ⺠PGE1 and PGE2 intra-luteal implants prevent loss of luteal weight. ⺠PGE1 and PGE2 intra-luteal implants prevent decreases in circulating progesterone. ⺠PGE1 and PGE2 intra-luteal implants prevent loss of luteal mRNA for LH receptors. ⺠PGE1 and PGE2 intra-luteal implants prevent loss of luteal unoccupied and occupied.
