Abstract
⺠COX-2 cDNA was successfully knocked-in to the Ptgs1 locus. ⺠COX-1 expression was knocked out completely in all tissues in COX-2 > COX-1 mice. ⺠Failure of manipulated COX-2 expression may result from signal peptide disruption or altered transcript processing.
