Abstract
⺠2NTX-99 was tested in vitro in pulmonary vasculature and central-peripheral airways. ⺠TXA2 analogue-increased vessel tone was reduced by 2NTX-99. ⺠2NTX-99 vasodilated the pulmonary vasculature via the release of NO. ⺠combined activity of 2NTX-99 as NO-donor and TXA2 synthesis inhibitor was shown. ⺠2NTX-99 has potential therapeutic use in pathologies of the pulmonary vascular bed.
