Abstract
âºACE and ACE2 play an important role in the iRAS. âºACE and ACE2 have been associated with renal injury. âºACE and ACE2 activity and protein expression are downregulated in renal neoplasms. âºACE and ACE2 mRNA levels are downregulated in distal nephron tumors (ChRCC and RO). âºThese findings suggest a metabolic imbalance of iRAS in renal neoplastic diseases.
