Abstract
⺠Administration of β-HCG has significant influence on 13C/12C ratios of urinary steroids. ⺠The found difference is too small to identify illicit β-HCG administration by athletes. ⺠13C/12C ratios of testicular steroids differ from steroids produced in the adrenal gland. ⺠Influence is found in both main excretion forms, glucuronidated and sulfated steroids. ⺠Steroid concentration ratios were not found advantageous to identify β-HCG administration.
