Abstract
⺠An imprinted polymer separates testosterone and epitestosterone in HPLC (α = 3.6). ⺠5α-Dihydrotestosterone, DHT, is used as template. ⺠Optimised polymer contains a DHT-based cross-linker. ⺠Cross-linker synthesis includes reduction of DHT to 3α,17β-diol with K-selectride.
