Abstract
This study concerns the experimental activity for the set-up of new hydraulic mortars for restoration. Different mix were realized with specific attention to the needs required in the restoration field. Two new formulations were selected and their physical-mechanical properties were determined following the standards tests for mortars characterization. The durability of the new products was evaluated by salt ageing tests as well as their performance with respect to the migration of the saline solution within the stone/mortar system in terms of harmfullness.
