Abstract
The furanoditerpenoids 1-7 were isolated from the antinociceptive and antiplasmodial root bark extracts of Caeasalpinia volkensii Harms (Caesalpiniaceae), which exhibited analgesic and antiplasmodial activities, justifying the use of the plant root bark as a remedy for malaria and pain.136
