Abstract
An ethno-botanical survey was conducted in some tribal dominated pockets of Kamrup district of ASSAM, a North Eastern State of India. This report deals with 24 plant species used as herbal remedies for the treatment of liver ailments. Each entry includes the botanical and prevalent local name(s), other medicinal use(s), part(s) used, method of preparation and mode of administration.
