Abstract
Swertiamarin showed significant elevation of antioxidant enzymes catalase, superoxide dismutase and glutatione and decreased level of MDA level in serum, liver and kidney, respectively. It confirms that swertiamarin restored these antioxidant mechanisms in the damage caused by d-GalN.
