Abstract
SummaryAnaesthesia for gynaecological oncology surgery must anticipate prolonged procedures that have the potential for significant blood loss and postoperative pain. Preoperative assessment must also take into account systemic disease effects, particularly for ovarian cancer, as well as the consequences of prior chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
