Abstract
Hypothermia is a major concern to health-care providers performing procedures in various health-care areas such as the operating room, emergency room, intensive care unit, endoscopy, labor, & delivery, cardiac lab, pain management centers, magnetic resonance imagery, computerized angiography tomography, and other imaging areas, including interventional radiology. This article explores issues pertaining to the occurrence of hypothermia in various settings and interventions that can be performed to minimize and/or prevent hypothermia.
