Abstract
This article discusses the successes of a multidisciplinary health care team that developed a video on voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG) for pediatric populations. It began with the vision of a staff radiology nurse who wanted to improve the experience and satisfaction of parents and their children scheduled for a VCUG. Since a commercially prepared educational video could not be found, a group of interested health care providers with similar interests and commitment was engaged to develop and test one. The purpose of this article is to delineate the journey of the group, the challenges, and outcomes of this endeavor. It is our hope that in sharing our rich experience with other nurses, they will be able to easily undertake similar projects.
