Abstract
No consent of the patient on religious grounds to medical intervention consisting of blood transfusion in clinical practice raises serious moral and ethical dilemmas. The object of this study is to analyze the legal admissibility of medical intervention associated with blood transfusion in case of opposition by legal representative of a minor. This aspect is considered in the context of the Jehovah's Witnesses. This study is an attempt to systematize the jurisprudence and literature on this subject and presenting practical guidance for doctors.
