Abstract
The results indicate that that 0-3 services alone are not sufficient to prevent educational disadvantage in this population and preterm children require intervention also in the kindergarten years. Pediatricians should routinely ask parents to report their children's development and behavioral problems during child's health supervision visits so that children whose problems persist over time can be identified and possibly referred for assessment and treatment.
