Niedobór witaminy B12 u niemowlÄ t w pierwszym kwartale życia - opis 4 przypadków

Four cases of infants with severe anemia of early infancy are presented. These children were treated orally with vitamins and iron, subcutaneously erythropoietin (EPO) without any improvement. After diagnosis of vitamin B12 deficiency and vitamin B12 injection in small doses the patients clinically improved and hematological remission achieved. In this article we would like to pay attention to vitamin B12 deficiency as a cause of treatment failure in anemia of early infancy.
