Abstract
Examined families attach little importance to behaviours being conducive to health (such as a healthy diet, leading an active way of living, preferring active ways of relaxing). As far as feeding is concerned, following own experiences and habits passed on from one generation to another is more popular; specialist knowledge does not influence shaping eating habits so much. From the answers given it can be learnt that excessive eating among children is conditioned mostly by situations (boredom, free time organized improperly).
