Abstract
The results of our study showed that the etiology of increased risk of leukemia in Down syndrome children does not result from chromosomal instability. Therefore, further studies are necessary to study this phenomenon. Our results also revealed, that hidden chromosomal instability depends to some extent on the age of tested individuals.
