Abstract
The principle of modified milk application is satisfied in the majority of infants receiving bottle-feeding and mixed feeding. The abnormalities found refer to premature dietary supplementation of cow's milk and dairy products, improper preparation of milk mixtures and their application at night. Bottle-feeding of 6-month-old infants covers the daily demand for calcium. However, it seems alarming that the dietary calcium intake in almost 1/3 of the children at the age of 12 months covers less than 80% of the required norm.
