Abstract
Failure to thrive, metabolic hypochloremic alkalosis, hypokaliemia and recurrent episodes of dehydratation in patients with cystic fibrosis are described as pseudo-Bartter syndrome. However, these symptoms are rarely found as isolated without significant clinical involvement of the respiratory or the gastrointestinal tract. We present a case of 12-month old boy with isolated pseudo-Bartter syndrome with recurrent hypovolemia as a key and most prominent symptom of cystic fibrosis.
