Abstract
Baseline ALT activity and HCV RNA viral load did not influence achieving SVR. Careful observation of patients after antiviral treatment with negative HCV RNA in serum but positive results in PBMCs is essential. Antiviral treatment does not have an unequivocal effect on HVC RNA in PBMCs.
