Abstract
1. In children with complete heart block 24-hour Holter ECG monitoring is a useful method in assessing indications for pacemaker implantation. 2. The results of Holter ECG monitoring in children with complete heart block do not distinguish asymptomatic from symptomatic children, but the maximal heart rate was slower in symptomatic patients. 3. In older children with complete heart block the incidence of ventricular arrhythmia increased, and in symptomatic children it was more serious.
