Abstract
Polish doctors' readiness to recognize periodic fever syndromes allows avoidance of unnecessary antibiotic use and has a positive impact on the quality of life of patients and their families. While PFAPA syndrome is a mild, self-limiting disease, PFSs are chronic conditions that require effective prevention of amyloidosis.
