Abstract
Magnetic resonance is the method of choice in the detection of cortical malformations, myelination delay, cerebellar hypoplasia. MR imaging and neurological exams help to determine the diagnosis of the congenital CMV disease and introducing of antiviral therapy. Neuroimaging of the brain abnormalities allows to suppose exact time of intrauterine infection.
