Abstract
The level of endogenous IFN Ï in the first weeks of antiviral treatment varied. Monitoring of IL 12 was a good prognostic factor, especially in the 24th week of treatment. Baseline ALT activity and HCV RNA viral load did not influence the achieving of SVR in the study group.
