Abstract
Flecainide is an effective antiarrhythmic drug in newborns and infants with SVT in combined therapy. However, it should be used in patients with refractory SVT in cases of resistance to essential treatment. Flecainide is also a safe antiarrhythmic drug. However, because of possible severe adverse effects and necessecity of monitoring in such cases, therapy with this drug should be started under clinical conditions in department of pediatric cardiology.
