Abstract
High medial opening wedge osteotomy is a favourable operative technique for treatment of medial compartment knee osteoarthritis in the young and active patient. While previously satisfying clinical results have been presented, there is no such data reporting on the sporting activity in patients following an isolated medial open wedge high tibial osteotomy for treatment of unicompartmental varus gonarthrosis.
