Genome-wide analysis of loss of heterozygosity and copy number amplification in uterine leiomyomas using the 100K single nucleotide polymorphism array

► We examined 37 uterine fibroids for copy number variation with a 100K SNP array. ► LOH was found in 4/37 and was significantly associated with tumor size. ► One region of amplification at 3p26.3 was found in 4/37 tumors. ► Copy number changes did not correlate with clinical or histologic features.
