Abstract
After reperfused myocardial infarction, dynamic changes in wall thickness, contractile reserve, microvascular perfusion, and microvascular obstruction take place. These changes may affect their accuracy as viability indexes early after myocardial infarction. The transmural extent of necrosis does not vary, however.
