Abstract
We conclude that surfonylureas treatment leads to increased insulin and leptin levels in overweight type 2 diabetes men, metformin, or rosiglitazone treatment can reduce insulin and leptin levels, respectively, and effect of metformin on plasma leptin and insulin levels is more significant than that of rosiglitazone.
