Abstract
This report describes the infrastructure of the Fetal Heart Program at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. We discuss our experience and evolution since implementation of this multidisciplinary practice model in May 2001. Our Fetal Heart Program is currently the main source of referral for admission of neonates with congenital heart disease to our Cardiac Center. A multidisciplinary Fetal Heart Program is the optimal way of managing all aspects of complex congenital heart disease in the current modern era of prenatal diagnostics.
