Abstract
Today, nuclear cardiology offers a range of stress tests and protocols as well as numerous image acquisition and processing techniques that can be used in the diagnostic and prognostic assessment of coronary artery disease and in the evaluation of myocardial viability. This article describes those techniques and protocols, and concludes with a series of recommendations on report writing that are tailored to our specialty.
