Abstract
We injected different strains of Borrelia burgdorferi into a variety of mouse strains by the intracerebral (i.c.) route to develop the model. Spirochetal infection and ITAb production were identified by complementary methods. This study demonstrates that the mouse model of LNB can be utilized to test hypotheses related to the mechanisms of ITAb production.
