Abstract
Carbamate poisoning symptoms are derived from a reversible inhibition acetylcholinesterases, which gives rise to muscarinic and nicotinic symptoms of short duration, in this type of poisoning the fetus deserves the best care and ultrasound monitoring while the mother receives treatment similar to non-pregnant women because there is no evidence to contraindicate the use of the same scheme of detoxification and supportive therapy in pregnant women. No other case reported in the literature of acute carbamate during pregnancy, reason why the report itself.
