The patient filed a request for damages both against the public service, for which the radiologist and the clinician operated, and against the two doctors, relying on a court settlement of the dispute. The lack of response from the structure caused the patient to sue for legal action, both against the structure itself and the radiologist, who in turn called the dentist into question. After investigation carried out by the expert witness, the judge sentenced jointly and severally both the structure and the two doctors, identifying the latter two as liable at 50%.
