Abstract
Schwannomas, also known as neurilemmomas, are uncommon neoplasms, derived from Schwann cells of the nerve sheath. Although rare in the oral cavity, Schwannomas should be considered in the differential diagnosis of intraoral masses. Floor of mouth tumors are especially unusual, and in this site, the main differential diagnosis is a minor salivary gland neoplasm. This article presents two cases of Schwannoma in this locale.
