Abstract
Local skin reactions after bites by unknown nonvenomous insects rarely have an allergic base. They are often toxic local reactions, being a result of the influence of the insects’ excretions. A case report of the woman is described with acute local allergic skin reactions after being stung by the pigeon tick (Argas reflexus).
