Abstract
Antihistamines up-dosing is now a gold-standard as well as first line treatment in chronic urticaria therapy. At the beginning, this approach was based on experts’ opinions and case reports, sometimes based on small clinical trials. In this review we tried to deliver data suggesting that this kind of approach is efficient and safe. Moreover, the safety of up-dosing is also analyzed. Taken together, we tried to deliver data allowing for safe and efficient selection of chronic urticaria treatment.
