RésuméEn rhinoplastie, obtenir satisfaction tant sur le plan esthétique que fonctionnel peut s’avérer complexe. En matière de chirurgie esthétique, le rhinoplasticien a une obligation de moyen dite renforcée. Dans notre expérience, le résultat fonctionnel du patient est très lié au résultat morphologique : quand la réalisation d’une rhinoplastie donne toute satisfaction au plan esthétique au patient, même s’il a des difficultés respiratoires, les litiges seront exceptionnels. En rhinoplastie primaire, des résultats insatisfaisants sont retrouvés dans 15 à 30 % des cas. Si l’information orale au patient est primordiale, le praticien devra pouvoir apporter la preuve de sa délivrance via une fiche d’information écrite ou encore des courriers aux différents intervenants y compris au patient. La réalisation de photos pré- et post-opératoires est indispensable et le chirurgien doit les archiver pour être en mesure de les produire en cas de conflit.
