Abstract
Humanitarian surgical missions provide cares in developing countries and in difficult conditions. Preparation of these missions is a mandatory step for both technical and human points of view. Before the departure, care must be taken to accomplish all the administrative (visa application, valid passportâ¦) and the medical formalities (mandatory and recommended vaccinations). The aim of this article is to present a helpful vade mecum allowing any surgeon, especially the juniors, to prepare a humanitarian mission abroad.
