Abstract
Nanoparticles and nanoengineered materials are no longer the sole province of laboratory investigation. An increasing number of products based on nanotechnologies are now finding their way into the marketplace. The growing commercialization of products exploiting novel properties observed at the nanoscale is being accompanied by calls for regulation.
