Une nouvelle cause de cholangite intra et extra-hépatique : le syndrome d’hypersensibilité médicamenteuse ou DRESS: Drug rash with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms

RésuméLe DRESS (Drug Rash with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms) correspond à une réaction médicamenteuse incluant le plus souvent éruption cutanée, fièvre, présence d’anomalies hématologiques à type d’hyperéosinophilie et hyperlymphocytose atypique et une ou plusieurs atteintes viscérales intéressant notamment le foie. Nous rapportons un cas de syndrome d’hypersensibilité médicamenteuse ou DRESS associée à une atteinte biliaire intra et extra-hépatique tout à fait exceptionnelle dans ce contexte. Le médicament responsable est probablement la sulfasalazine et moins probablement le naproxène. Une réactivation de HHV6 a été documentée dans les suites du DRESS et pourrait avoir participé à la symptomatologie.
