Abstract
•Poetry has recently emerged as a significant resource in nurse education.•We propose poetry as hybrid pedagogy as a new curricular development.•This theorises poetry as embodied learning within health humanities.•A specific poem from hybrid educators is analysed in the above contexts.•Benefits for nurse education and curricular incorporation are discussed.
