Abstract
Tribes became a successful basis of measure theory on fuzzy sets. During their investigation, new requirements arose. We discuss possible modifications of the original definition of a tribe. We suggest a more general structure which admits to apply different triangular norms in different parts. Emphasis is put on point-free notions.
