Abstract
We show that monotone σ-complete effect algebras with the Riesz decomposition property are σ-homomorphic images of effect-tribes with the Riesz decomposition property, which are effect algebras of fuzzy sets closed under pointwise limits of nondecreasing fuzzy sets.
