Abstract
This paper addresses the H∞H∞ control problem via slow state variables feedback for discrete-time fuzzy singularly perturbed systems. At first, a method of evaluating the upper bound of singular perturbation parameter ϵ with meeting a prescribed H∞H∞ performance bound requirement is given. Subsequently, two methods for designing H∞H∞ controllers via slow state variables feedback are presented in terms of solutions to a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). In particular, one of them can be used to improve the upper bound of the singular perturbation parameter ϵ. Finally, two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
