Incidencia de tumores malignos en pacientes adultos, diagnosticados por primera vez en el hospital Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores al Servicio de los Poderes del Estado de Puebla en el año 2014

ResumenLa incidencia de tumores malignos va en aumento año con año, sin embargo no se cuenta con estadísticas a nivel nacional. El propósito de esta revisión es el de dar a conocer el incremento de la incidencia de tumores malignos en pacientes adultos durante el año 2014, en comparación con el año 2013. En el presente artículo analizaremos la frecuencia de cada tipo de tumor y su relación con la literatura mundial, basándonos en un conteo de pacientes a lo largo del año 2014.Objetivo y métodosCon este estudio se pretende conocer la incidencia de tumores malignos en pacientes diagnosticados en el ISSSTEP por primera vez en el año 2014.Para lograr el objetivo se dispuso del registro del departamento de patología y posteriormente se revisaron los expedientes para cerciorarse de que no fueran tumores recurrentes.Este registro fue avalado por el jefe del departamento de patología del instituto.

The incidence of malignant tumours is increasing year by year, but no statistics are available nationwide. The purpose of this review is to raise awareness of the increase in the incidence of malignant tumours in adults during 2014, compared with 2013. In this article, an analysis was performed on the frequency of each type of tumour and its relationship to world literature, based on a count of patients throughout year 2013.Objective and methodsTo determine the incidence of malignant tumours in patients diagnosed in ISSSTEP for first time in 2014.To achieve this goal, a register was compiled from the files of the department of pathology, and were reviewed to ensure that they were not recurrent tumours.This register was approved by the head of department of the pathology institute.
