Abstract
In this paper a new approach is proposed to increase the robustness of the classical L2-norm state estimation. To achieve this task a new formulation of the Levemberg–Marquardt algorithm based on the trust-region method is applied to a new M-estimator, which we called M-Arctan. Results obtained on IEEE networks up to 300 buses are presented.
