Abstract
ⶠSignal entropy provides a quantitative measure of neural information. ⶠNervous systems transmit information in both continuous and discrete formats. ⶠA data compression algorithm estimates entropy of continuous and discrete signals. ⶠPractical, efficient and lossless data compression is based on pointer sorting.
